About Me

I am a visiting assistant professor at the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. In August 2022, I earned my Ph.D. in accounting from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

I am broadly interested in information economics. Specifically, I research the role of accounting in creating, maintaining, and disseminating information that is in turn used for economic decisions. My research falls into two related categories: 1) the economic frictions and implications associated with new technology and its effect on information and investments and 2) the use of accounting information by decision makers. I am also interested in fundamental analysis and valuation.

Prior to starting the Ph.D. program at Boston College, I worked as a CPA auditing federal defense contracts and public companies’ internal controls over financial reporting, including the evaluation of internal controls and information systems.
